Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the loss of our dear friend and fellow SoCal-er Major Andrew M. Budenz or Andy as we all called him.  His spirit, warm-heart, humor and infectious smile live on through his beautiful baby boy AJ.  Today, we celebrate Andy’s heroism as a pilot who served our country in the United States Marine Corps, as well as, his amazing life who touched many.  The following WOD will also be featured as one of the events at the SoCal Fitness Classic on October 2nd.  We love you, Andy.  This one’s for you.

Lift:

Back Squat

5×65%, 5×75%, 5×85% (do more reps if you can)

21 Foot Handstand Walk
9 Muscle-ups
21 Foot Handstand Walk

L1-Choose weight, 21 second handstand hold, 27 jumping pull-ups, 27 jumping ring dips.
L2- 95/65lbs, 21 second handstand hold, bar muscle-ups
L3- Rx’d
