Weekend Warriors

CHeck out the crossfit weekend warriors site for more information: http://www.crossfitweekendwarriors.com

CrossFit Weekend Warriors is FREE and open to the public:  The class is held every Saturday at 10am at CrossFit SoCal, Mission Bay Park or another TBD location. Please check the website for details on the whereabouts of our next class. Come as often as you like.  There is no obligation to join the gym.

Please come on in: There is no need to sign up or pre-register for the class. However, feel free to contact us if you have any questions at info@crossfitsocal.com.

No experience necessary:  We have new comers every week, so we scale the workouts from beginning to advanced and everywhere in between.  Most people use Weekend Warriors as a way to get introduced to CrossFit.  It is a great way to try it out before committing to our intro classes.

What to bring: 1. A water bottle.  We do have a drinking fountain, but often it is nice to have your own bottle and use the fountain for refills.  2. Athletic clothing.  Wear the flattest sneakers that you own. Something like Converse All Stars or Vans work great.  There are a number of shoe companies that make minimalist running shoes, too.  3. A small towel.  We get sweaty!  You may want to dry off afterwards.  We have cubbies and lockers for you to store your stuff.

What to expect: If it is your first time, you will be asked to sign a waiver.  Then, a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach will be taking you through a warm-up, demonstration of the exercises used in the workout, the workout (3,2,1…go!) and a cool down stretch.   If you are interested in learning more about CrossFit, there will be time following to chat with one of our coaches about Fundamentals classes.

Bring your kids: We have a great room for kids to play and hangout in while you are working out.  The room has a large flat screen tv, Blue Ray player and plenty of toys for your tykes.  We welcome teenagers to join their parents during the workout!

We look forward to meeting you!
